Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office

Ana has been working for the Culpeper County Sheriff’s Office since 2001. During this time she has served in almost every capacity of the office. She has worked in the Patrol, Civil Process, Jail, Court Security, and Crime Prevention Divisions. Not only is she a D.A.R.E. Officer, is also a General Instructor, Driving Instructor, and a D.A.R.E. Mentor.

In 2010, Ana was awarded the prestigious DARE Officer of the Year Award for the Commonwealth of Virginia. She is currently serving as the School Resource Officer for both A.G. Richardson and Pearl Sample Elementary Schools.

In her spare time, Ana spends a majority of it traveling with her two daughters to museum, theaters, baseball games, and different parts of the world. Ana refers to her time with the girls as “adventures”. She surrounds herself with a few quotes; “It takes a village to raise a child”, “Do to others as you would have them to do upon you”, and “Although no one can go back and make a brand new start, anyone can start from now and make a brand new ending.”
