Deputy Eric M. Lucas
Eric will serve as the President of VDA until the next election at the 2023 School Safety Conference. Eric was hired by the Hanover County Sheriff’s Office in 2006 and served twelve years in Patrol. He joined the Youth Services Unit in 2018. In 2021 Eric was elected to the D.A.R.E. Board as Vice President. In 2022 Eric received the Excellent Services Award from the Hanover Sheriff’s Office for his dedication to the Hanover County D.A.R.E. program.
