Deputy Breanna Marini
Breanna Marini and I am the Past President of the Virginia D.A.R.E. Association. I started with the King George Sheriff’s Office in 2015 and my Sheriff sent me to D.A.R.E. School straight out of the academy. I will be forever grateful for Sheriff Dempsey and Sheriff Giles for seeing something in me that I had never considered. I fell in LOVE with the D.A.R.E. program! Not only do I have a passion for teaching the children in my community, but I also love Mentoring new D.A.R.E. Officers across the state. I have been a D.A.R.E. Mentor with the Virginia D.A.R.E. Training Center for almost five years and it is one of the most fulfilling roles I have as an officer. If I could offer one piece of advice to D.A.R.E. Officers across the Commonwealth, it would be to Network. Get to know your fellow officers across the state, barrow ideas, and always give your best to the children. And always remember to be safe & be responsible!
