Officer Rebecca Bechtel is employed with the Harrisonburg Police Department in Harrisonburg, Va. Officer Bechtel works in the Community Resource Unit as the departments only D.A.R.E. Officer. She has been with HPD for 3 years, while her role as the D.A.R.E. Officer is new she is excited for the opportunity to educate the community’s youngest citizens. In her role as secretary she is looking forward to being able to further the great work that has been started over the past few years.
