Deputy First Class Dawn Harding

Dawn started her Virginia law enforcement career in 1993. She served in corrections and communications until 1996 when she moved into patrol, investigations, and training. She was hired by Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office in 2008 and served in the patrol division. In 2014 she started teaching DARE full time to Loudoun County 5th graders when she joined the Operational Support Division / Youth Services Section as an SRO / DARE Officer. She became a DARE mentor 2019 to help develop some of the best, motivated, and passionate DARE officers in Virginia. Dawn is looking forward to serving on the Virginia Dare Board to help improve and grow the DARE community.
