Deputy Dawer Sahi is employed with the Roanoke City Sheriff’s Office located in Roanoke VA. He is assigned to the Law Enforcement Division and has been employed with the agency a little under two years.
He currently serves as a School Resource Office within the elementary schools and is also one of the division’s Field Training Officers.
Deputy Sahi continues to enjoy his role in D.A.R.E and delivering this important initiative within the schools.
Prior to joining the Sheriff’s Office, he worked in other agencies as well as at a specialized school for children with a variety of special needs.
Deputy Sahi’s success in his role is due to his love for community and commitment to being a positive role model for all of the children he meets.
Deputy Sahi states” he is excited and is looking forward to getting to know and interacting further with the diverse members of the D.A.R.E Association and the citizens of this great commonwealth”.
